As a long distance runner since the mid 1970's, I was devastated when in 1998, I developed 2 bulging discs and severe sciatic nerve problems. Needless to say, my running came to a complete halt for 6 months. Thanks to the professional help from Dr. Allen, I was gradually able to resume running and participated in several adventure travel experiences. I continued with regular monthly adjustments from her.

I am 66 years old and have been a patient of Dr. Allen's for about 20 of those years. During those years, she has provided Chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, nutrition and a caring heart. I've learned the value of regular "tuneups" rather than letting a painful crisis arise from neglect. Through adjustments and acupuncture, Dr. Allen helped me heal from knee and shoulder problems, of which were becoming debilitating. I first saw Dr. Allen out of desperation due to chronic pain, from head to toe, secondary to - multiple injuries, surgeries, carpal tunnel syndrome and fibromyalgia. The best in town! I was diagnosed by many doctors as first stages of MS. Dr. Allen ordered x-rays. She went over the X-rays with me and explained what process we will take to strengthen and align my body. She adjusts using a hand-held mechanical device. No popping, jerking, pulling. And I feel great!
Adjustments stopped my dizziness, diminished upper, mid, lower back pain, and allowed me to focus.
Acupuncture (never done before and didn't even feel it) aides when sinus pressure exists. After a fall I had fluid buildup on my elbow. Dr. Allen performed an acupuncture treatment and it went away after a couple of days!!
Low Level Laser therapy when I have weakness in my hands..gives strength and allows to hold on to objects. It also allows the blood to flow for better circulation.
TENS Unit when my muscles are tight.
Infrared treatment when my muscles hurt or straining. Instant gratification for me.
Custom orthotics and my feet no longer ache all day.
Nutrition response testing so that I know the right nutrition plan and take the right supplements that are fit for me.
A Balanced body is a healthy body! I only found that here at Allen Chiropractic Wellness Center. I know that I have to follow doctor's orders to make it work. I trust Dr. Allen's judgement and her advice.

Allen Chiropractic is the best Chiropractic Clinic I have ever been to. Since being a former college athlete. I have never been taken care of as properly as I have at Allen Chiropractic. Every single time I go, I am always beyond pleased with the care and compassion I am given by Dr. Laurie Allen and her staff. I went in for a complaint of lower back pain and was able to alleviate the pain within just 1 week of stretches and care provided. Dr. Allen is the best at giving healthy lifestyle advice while taking care of your body, as well. I would recommend Allen Chiropractic to anyone time and time again. They are truly the best!
